This year's ICRESH event took place at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. The event addresses issues relating to physics of failure and prognostics and health management of electronic products.

CALCE has been a co-organizer of ICRESH since 2010 and has helped in planning the program, offering keynote talks, and leading tutorials and demonstrations in various fields, including of the future R&D requirements for development and application of the risk-based approach to management of complex systems such as nuclear plants, space and aviation, transportation, software systems, and process plants.

This year, Prof. Pecht presented an invited keynote talk on reliability science, and Prof. Dasgupta led the tutorial Physics-of-Failure Methods and PHM of Electronic Components. Prof. Pecht was honored with an award recognizing his contributions to the field and CALCE's participation and efforts in co-organizing the conferences, and Prof. Dasgupta received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the field of physics-of-failure.
