news story image

This year's CALCE Electronic Products and Systems (EPS) Consortium Technical Review and Roadmap meetings took place on October 23rd and 24th at the University of Maryland. More than 50 CALCE Consortium members, researchers, and students attended the event. Companies such as Dell, Keysight Technologies, Microsoft, and NASA were present.

The event was an opportunity for CALCE students, professors and research scientists to highlight research and results from many projects, which are determined by attending consortium members.

Following the technical presentations, members in attendance help the Center decide future research directions by pooling industry interests and needs. This year, Subramani Manahoran took home the award for Best Student Presenter for his presentation on Bond Shear Testing of Copper Wire Bonds.

Members from the aerospace, automotive, computer, electronics, government and medical industries support the consortium. More information about the active research discussed at the meetings can be found here.
