Abstract:

The electronics industry faces ongoing challenges due to obsolescence, geopolitical tensions, and supply chain disruptions. With rising demand and constrained supply, ensuring component quality and reliability is critical. Robust testing is essential to mitigate risks and maintain supply chain integrity.

Emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality are driving global IT spending past $1 trillion. Yet, counterfeit components remain a serious threat, compromising equipment performance, endangering users, and causing costly failures.

Retronix has taken significant steps to address these risks through advanced component recovery and testing. With ISO 17025 accreditation to AS6171 testing methods, Retronix upholds the highest industry standards for counterfeit detection, ensuring a secure and traceable supply chain. By recovering and verifying original components, companies can reduce counterfeits, extend product lifecycles, minimise waste, and improve cost efficiency.

By adopting these strategies, businesses can safeguard their supply chains, enhance reliability, and contribute to a more secure and sustainable electronics industry.
