Ilknur Baylakoglu Joins CALCE as Visiting Scholar

Ilknur Baylakoglu has joined the CALCE research team for the next six months. During her visit, she will conduct research on the damaging effects of photon electronics, reliability-engineering, and assist Prof. Pecht with writing literature and research proposals. 

Baylakoglu, who specializes in design for reliability, earned her BS and MS in chemical engineering from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, and she has worked as Reliability Group Leader for the Satellite System Design department at the TUBITAK Space Technologies Research Institute—where she initiated the reliability laboratory. She is also working for the European Commission’s (EC) Research Executive Agency (REA) on the Horizon2020 project proposal evaluation and serves monitoring expert for SPACE, SME, CleanSky and TWINING
