This year’s Spring Technical Review meeting was marred by an unwelcomed spring nor’easter. Due to the inclement weather, Day 1 of the meeting was presented online while Day 2 convened at the University of Maryland as planned.

Despite the weather, more than 50 members and CALCE research staff attended the event in person and online. Attendees included representatives from BAE Systems, Dell, Microsoft, NASA, and Schlumberger among others.

The best student presentation award went to two students in a tie—Lovlesh Kaushik, a 2nd year Masters student with a focus on lubricants for connector applications, presented Selection of Lubricants for Electronic Connectors and Saurabh Saxena, a 4th year PhD student focusing on reliability, testing, failure analysis, and health management of Li-ion batteries, presented Accelerated Testing and Modeling of Li-ion Batteries.

The proposed projects will be available online in the near future.
