Abstract: For the past 3+ years, COVISUS has been developing a tagless track and trace solution based on capturing the intrinsic surface texture of a component through non-contact imaging. Through funding from the US Missile Defense Agency, we have validated the technology at multiple OEM and distributor sites and recently completed a return of investment analysis that shows full compliance to DFARS 252.246-7007 (microelectronics security) with payoff in less than 6 months. Furthermore, with support for the Defense Logistic Agency, we have developed multiple platforms (fully automated, bench top and handheld) to enable implementation through the supply chain that also enable full compliance with DFARS 252.211-7003 (IUID) and meet the traceability requirements for items not covered by 246-7007. In this presentation, we will share our case studies and demonstrate our technology.
