CALCE Reliability Science Symposium - Fall 2021

The Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering will conduct its bi-annual Reliability Science Symposium, Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Due to continued COVID concerns, these meetings will be conducted virtually. The Reliability Science symposium will include an overview of CALCE research activities with several detailed research project presentations. The meeting will open to CALCE members and those individuals interested in learning more about CALCE research. Presentation topics will include:

  • Risk Informed Storage Management of Electronic Parts and Assemblies
  • Impact of Ripple Current on Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors
  • Evaluation and Selection of Lubricants for Mechanical Interfaces
  • Durability of Intermetallics Compounds and Copper Traces Under Vibration and Temperature Cycling
  • Effect of Multiaxial Stress on Tin-Silver-Copper Polycrystalline Solder Joints
  • Degradation Of Lithium-Ion Batteries
  • Reliability of Interconnects formed with Low-Temperature Bismuth Tin Solder Alloys
  • Reliability of Interconnects formed with High-Performance Bismuth Antimony Tin Silver Copper Solder Alloys
