Dr. Namkyoung Lee; (Ph.D., University of Maryland, 2023) is a research associate at the CALCE Prognostics and Health Management Team at the University of Maryland. He earned a B.S. degree in electronics from Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2015, followed by an M.S. degree in computer science from KAIST, Daejeon, Korea, in 2017. In 2023, he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA. Dr. Lee's expertise lies in physics of failure-based and data-driven prognostics, specifically in the areas of automotive components, electric circuits, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. He specializes in signal processing and feature engineering for prognostics and is adept at integrating domain knowledge into data-driven prognostic models.
