Dr. Diganta Das presented to the PEG fall conference for the Engineering and Construction Industry on awareness of counterfeit electronics and their detection and avoidance and make decisions on selecting sources of electronic components to avoid counterparts. 

The Procurement Executives Group provides a forum to identify and address procurement-related issues which will improve the effectiveness of the engineering and construction industry. Established in 1994 the Procurement Executive Group has been recognized as an Industry authority on Procurement, Materials Management, and Subcontracting topics. PEG is actively involved in supporting research efforts related to these topics with Construction Industry Institute (CII), CAPS research, and other industry organizations. 

Dr. Das showed how today's building projects are becoming more automotive involving a lot of electronics. He has advised on how to address the issues of counterfeiting within their supply chain.
