Anti-Counterfeit Aerospace Standards for non-EEE Materiel

Jim Creiman [SAE International]

Abstract:

Government and Industry have focused much attention on counterfeit electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) parts. However, other commodities are all too frequently counterfeited, sometimes with catastrophic results. This presentation describes how the implementation of recently published SAE AS6174B and associated standards can help organizations avoid counterfeit non-EEE materiel.
