Dr. Daniel N Donahoe has a Bachelor's Degree in General Engineering and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. He also hold a distinguished MBA Degree from Santa Clara University. Hacing completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. He further went on to serve the United States Air Force as a specialized engineer for a good part of his life.

 

Dr. Donahoe has a broad electronics background and has been engaged in technology at all levels. His specialized interests lie in mechanical/materials engineering, including passive components like plastic and ceramic parts, capacitors, PWBs, connectors, and solar PV. In his long tenure as an engineer, he has garnered experience in thermal/fluids, heat sinks, radiation heat transfer, HVAC, and project management. Dr. Donahoe has also been selected as the Utah Engineers Council Engineer of the Year as a recognition of his positive impact on the community. He was presented with this honor by the United States Senator of Utah, Mitt Romney.

 

Dr. Dan Donahoe has been recognized by Air Force for his contributions and presented with an Award for Meritorious Civilian Service. Dr. Donahoe recently retired and has received accolades from many divisions of the Air Force for his loyal services to the Federal Government. He has been selected as Utah Engineers Council Engineer of the Year, a high honor and recognition for his positive impact on the community. Upon his retirement, he was further felicitated with prestigious awards for his work, services, and contributions to many projects for the government of the United States of America.
