Fletcher provides a statistical update overview of primarily the UK and European Electronic Components Markets but also for context and to round out his analysis of “what’s happening” in the US and Asian markets. The presentation is focused on the market perspective of electronic Components Manufacturers and their Authorised Distributors. He will also cover the current industry best practice and practical solutions for Counterfeit Avoidance in the electronic components market.

Biography:

Fletcher has deep cultural exposure to business practice and processes in Europe, the USA, and Japan and has created, developed, managed, and led, large multi-disciplined teams, and organizations with sales revenues > $100M+pa. His ability to convert complex technical innovation into repeatable, scalable business models with clear strategic definitions combined with “hands-on” execution, enables organizations to meet their objectives. Effective engagement and communication across organizational boundaries, with complex multi-level, multi-site, and multi-country negotiations enable successful outcomes for all parties. Fletcher has significant experience in the following areas: Corporate Acquisitions, Disposals, Funding - High Yield Bond / Initial Public Offering, Manufacturing Resource Planning Systems, International Sales Management, ERP Systems, Strategic, and Tactical Product Marketing, International Operational Management, and Global Corporate Management. Fletcher has been Chairman of the Electronic Components Supply Network (ecsn) since May 2005 and was appointed Chairman of the International Distribution of Electronics Association (IDEA) in 2011.
