Are We Getting to a Perpetual Era of Allocation of Components with Long Lead Times?
Kevin Sink [TTI, Inc.]
Abstract:
Electronics component supply chains are no longer governed by cyclical demand or perturbed by external events but by fundamental shifts in technology, demand, and global economics. Global wafer and packaging capacities are prioritized for higher-margin products, leaving general-purpose segments starved for capacity. The shift toward electrification, data center expansions, and edge AI has permanently raised the baseline requirements for critical components. Geopolitical shifts and localized manufacturing mean that supply chains are increasingly used as tools for economic dominance, resulting in structural, long-term unpredictability.
This panel will share information from industry experts from the frontline and propose ways to manage your organization's sourcing policies..
